Mission
Lafortune reuses any shipping packaging boxes sent to us. While orders are placed, we will pack the already used box. In hopes, that our customers do the same when shipping items of their own or even when wrapping gifts.
Plantable (or Seeded) Paper, are as they are named, is placed into every order. We want to show our appreciation to our customers by giving them flowers. This is paper you are able to plant and water to help start your own herb/flower garden.
1 order = 1 tree planted. Trees are a important factor in our eco-system. Deforestation is an ongoing issue that we are slowly tackling. We wanted to include our customers in the rebuilding of parks with their purchase.
Vision
Lafortune General Store's online presence is just the beginning of what we envision for this small business. With the support of you, we hope to open up a physical store that hones all of the products we currently have, a refill area, café, bookstore and plant shop.
We believe that human interaction is the best way to teach someone what we know and have inquired. We feel as if it is our duty to spread awareness on global warming, climate change, and benefits of using eco-friendly products in your life.
We're here to help those who are still unaware of what steps to take to living a more sustainable lifestyle. And we are here for those who just want to stay on top of their supplies.
Now, we’re not the kind company to tell you to start using carrier pigeons as a way to send mail …we prefer mules, lol.
